Spiritbox launched their debut album Eternal Blue in 2021, Rotoscope in 2022, and they are looking up to maintain up that streak in 2023 with even far more new material. According to Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante in an interview with Revolver, the band by now has some new substance prepared to go. They are just not guaranteed when they are going to launch it.
“We like to sabotage ourselves,” stated LaPlante. “So we are like, ‘Hey, let’s throw in crafting new audio, too’ — and ideally, we are going to get some new tunes out in the first 50 % of the year. Just after that, we are gonna hibernate and ideally produce an album. That is the goal. Ridiculous initially 50 percent of the calendar year, quite chill 2nd 50 %.
“Now we have to figure out when do we exhibit you the songs? Do we display you in March? Do we present you in September? Or do we wait around right up until 2024? I really don’t know. We wrote this new music since we truly wanna share it with you. It created us truly feel a particular way and we wanna see if it tends to make you sense a particular way, also.”
Later on in the exact same interview, LaPlante notes “If all the things aligns and we come to feel actually strongly that all the things hits accurately how we want — the artwork and the tunes and the total matter around it — we are going to want to put this out as soon as achievable.”
Spiritbox is at this time out on the highway with After The Burial and Intervals for their very first-ever headlining tour. Spiritbox was also slated to tour with Slipping In Reverse later this calendar year, but that did not pan out thanks to some controversy.
